LED Blinker Load Simulator (BLS)

The Impart SP LED Blinker Load Simulator (BLS) is an after market device that is used when vehicles with incandescent blinker/indicator globes have those globes replaced with LEDs.

Why use one?

Simply, when a standard blinker can (the ticker unit, or 'audio tell tale'  that gives the audio feedback that confirms that the indicator is working properly) senses a lower load - as would be the case when a globe blows, but as is also the case with LEDs, which create a lower electrical load than globes - it flashes faster. Alternately, a vehicle CAN system sensing a lower load would also indicate a fault.

The BLS unit not only simulates the correct load (with 3 user selectable load settings, to suit a wide range of vehicles), it also detects if the LED is faulty and changes the load on the blinker circuit. What makes the BLS unique is that it works with either standard blinker can type systems or with CAN-Bus based blinker control systems.
