The miniCAN System offers a CAN-Bus backbone connectivity solution, but is primarily for smaller installations, where fewer input devices (such as control panels and sensors) and output devices (such as lights, sirens and pumps) are required, and where cost and space savings are paramount.

Like the iCAN System, miniCAN allows a CAN-Bus backbone to be easily created, but limits the number of attached devices. Up to 2 Inputs and up to 12x Outputs can be added.

Also, programmable logis is not changeable once it is loaded (at the factory, to the body builder's requirements). Also, there is no Master Control Module. Instead, application-specific logic is loaded (after being developed by us to meet your needs) directly onto the network's Master Control Panel.

miniCAN can be included as part of an iCAN System, allowing a control sub-system to be added to a larger iCAN system.
