Overview

The miniCAN (Mini Impart Controller Area Network) System offers similar capabilities to the iCAN system, but is designed for smaller, less complex applications, or where a 'fixed functionality' solution is required (ie software upgrades or addition of other devices is not liekly after the initial installation).

MiniCAN uses a CAN-Bus backbone, but with miniCAN, customers specify the devices to be attached and the basic control logic to be applied (eg safety interlock requirements), and we deliver a pre-programmed system to suit. There are also fewer components, with the system control panel doubling as the Master Control Module where network logic is stored.

	The iCAN (Impart Controller Area Network) System is a modular CAN-Bus connectivity system that allows after-market devices to be connected to a multiplexed backbone that delivers power as well as 'control logic' to the attached devices (such as lights, sirens, sensors, etc). Very simply, iCAN allows vehicle body builders or fitout specialists to design a complex electronic control system, containing a wide variety of input devices such as controls and sensors, and a wide variety of output devices such as lights and sirens, with ease and minimal cost; but that feature the safety and user enhancement features not possible using simpler 1-to-1 wiring harnesses.
